What makes this application useful?

• You can check your library account from any web browser, including a mobile phone.
• The url you receive can be bookmarked so you have one-click access to your account anytime.
• You can enter multiple library cards and get the result on one page.
• You can sign up and the system will let you know if items are due, holds arrive or if you have overdue items.

How does this application compare to Library Elf?

Library Elf does have similar features but differs with the following:

• You must signup for an account and login to check your library accounts.
• You can get mail notifications but to verify and check you account you must login again to check.
• It is slower when checking multiple library card accounts
• If you have to look at ads while you are using it.

Does this replace the existing mail notification from the Library when I have a hold arrive?

No, you can use this application in conjunction. The systems are not connected. Please keep in mind that the library notification system is only for hold arrivals.

Which libraries are supported by this application?

All of the thirty eight Westchester Libraries. If you have a library card from any of these libraries you can use Book Squire to manage your accounts.
